Featured Kickstarter: Sunshine Manor

This year I'd like to feature a different type of Kickstarter, rather than a short film or cartoon. Though I'm not much of a gamer, I really admire the creativity and intelligence that goes into programming something genuinely fun and aesthetically charming. I encourage you to check out the Sunshine Manor game, and if it appeals to you - - support it any way you can!

Featured Kickstarter: Black Dog Devil

In a quaint 1950s town in rural Indiana, a witches coven was interrupted at the height of evil, and a curse was born. For 25 years, the curse was all but forgotten, until a Stranger walked in out of the rain one October night, and this once-sleepy town will never be the same...

- Dusty Crosley

Horror is an ever-evolving monster (pun aside), and one can't help but think how well the genre suits just about every format, from print, to screen, to art, projection, radio, music, etcetera. I don't think there has ever been a time when the genre had so much innovation or incredible variety as we're seeing today. When I found this kickstarter, my breath was taken away by the eery beauty of the pictures in the video above. Frankly, I think you would be doing your self a disservice by not checking this project out.

Interested? Swing on over to the kickstarter page and help bring the first issue this gorgeous graphic series to life. Or, is that 'unlife'?

For a Gory Cause: The Mortuary Collection

Back again gang with a new kickstarter that just has me UNBELIEVABLY excited. 13 days to go and still a little over 10k left. This is a cute throwback to the camp of the 80s, and looks like it could be another excellent anthology. You all know how much I love those anthologies.

I'll just quote the page for you: "An eccentric mortician spins four twisted tales of madness and the macabre in a sleepy New England town where nothing is as it seems."

If this at all interests you, please check this link out. They've even got an awesome video.

For a Gory Cause: Charlie Lives

Hey guys, I'm taking a break from the regular routine of comics and reviews today to let you know about something that's got me pretty excited. It's an awesome kickstarter projected for a concept that I could really get behind.

You've got your Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Your House of 1000 Corpses. Your general classic slasher flicks that are inspired by real events, but have very little to do with them...and then you've got Charlie Lives. But I'll let the page to the talking for itself.
