Halloween 2019 Playlist
I'm going to be honest, there was very little rhyme or reason to this Halloween playlist except to have something playing in the background at your Halloween party if you want something for the wallflowers to watch. Or, you know, the horror nerds like us who like just about everything Halloween!

Halloween Playlist 2016
This year I'm going to try something a little different for the Halloween party playlist. Instead of music, I decided to bring you all back to your childhoods, or perhaps give the kids something to pass the time after their late night trick-or-treating festivities are over, and they're far too tired to sort their candy out before bed. This list contains cartoons, classic tv shows, and even commercials that I've gleaned from Youtube.
Alas and alack, they may eventually be taken down, but certainly not before this year's Spooky celebrations. So, without further ado, I give you...My Halloween 2016 Party Playlist!
Some of the videos may not play on the blog, but don't worry. You can find the direct playlist here!

Vintage Comics: Chamber of Chills – The Avenging Spectre, Darker Than Death, Strange Customs (12-19)
Here we find ourselves with quite a bit of text in articles, which actually confirms something I mentioned earlier about the writers adjusting from the printed word to the format of comics. Still, it's pretty cool to see how creative the illustrators got, and I do enjoy the colors. Now, while the second story falls more along the lines of mystery and suspense,it still fits quite well with the 'chill' element. I think my favorite bit about this comic series is the random fact articles, even if they were a bit more sensational than could be believed.

Creepy Short Cartoons: Stop Motion
Film itself is an incredibly time-consuming, and most often worthwhile art-form. Animation is definitely one of the more difficult types of film, because you're not just looking at actual people and telling them 'look there, say this' several times, you're basically taking one picture and then slightly modifying it to an almost microscopic degree, and doing this several hundred times...just to have a character turn their head and move an arm, or walk down a hallway. The following are a few selections of personal favorites, and I hope you like them too.
As one person pointed out, it's really difficult to adapt Lovecraft to film, and still capture the feel. I definitely think this one almost got it.
I want to say this short motivated me to become vegetarian, but we all know that's a dirty, dirty lie.
If this one was particularly enthralling for you, (you sick monkey) then I'd suggest browsing the rest of this odd series on youtube.
I think if I snapped one day, this would pretty much be what everything might look like. This is yet another video hosted by the artist who made it.
Another video hosted by the artist, I'd definitely suggest checking out their channel. I found this particular short oddly charming, in it's own twisted way.
